Eric Salazar, Field Project Manager

Originally from San Diego California, Eric discovered rock climbing after high school in Joshua Tree and has since traveled the world climbing and guiding to kick off his career. Eric eventually found a home at Vertical World Climbing Gym, first as a climber and then later as an employee. Since then and for over a decade Eric has been building climbing walls for clients across the United States. Besides being a project manager, he is a Washington State certified welder and a carpenter. If you need a wall built, you most likely be talking with him about your project.

When not building epic walls, Eric spends most of his time with his wife and two young kids. Every once in a while, he even gets a chance to cast his fly rod in search of trout in the great rivers of Washington.
